Old paperback manuals are growing in size and no longer fit in our pockets. Labor and delivery floors are increasingly hectic and the time to thumb through large “survival guides” is over. In conjunction with its emphasis on e-learning, the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis has created this application with the goal of replacing hardcopy manuals in our field once and for all!
This application not only provides the user with quick facts about common obstetric encounters and complications, but it also provides nationally recognized, evidence-based protocols on how to manage them. Physicians, nurses and mid-level providers will find this tool vital in their daily practice.
Additionally, there is a quiz section covering high-yield elements of the OBGYN field that will be attractive to any medical student preparing for the shelf and OBGYN residents preparing for CREOG exams.
We encourage feedback on the product as we intend to release annual updates.
